Personal Information
We do not and will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
We promise to only use and discloses your personal information as follows:
- to analyze site usage and improve the service;
- to deliver to you any administrative notices, alerts and communications relevant to your use of the service;
- to fulfill your requests for certain products and services;
- for market research, project planning, troubleshooting problems, detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity;
- as otherwise set forth in this policy.
Data Access and Retention
Your data is yours. You can remove it at anytime. When you request us to delete your account, your data will be permanently expunged from our primary production servers and further access to your account will not be possible. Your data may remain on a backup server or media. We must retain these backups to ensure our continued ability to provide service to you and our other customers in the event of malfunction or damage to our primary production servers, but we will never restore an users data unless they personally request it. We also reserve the right to use any aggregated or anonymous data derived from or incorporating your personal information in a manner outlined elsewhere in our policy.
As long as your account is active, you will be able to download your data in Microsoft Office Excel format. We make no representations as to the suitability of importing the data into any other program.
Passwords and Account Security
We DO NOT maintain strict rules to help prevent others from guessing your password. In our experience such rules are a frustration to users and do not increase security. We do recommend you research what level of security you wish your password to adhere to and set it accordingly. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your Login ID and Password. If you believe that they have been stolen or been made known to others, you should change your password immediately.
Payments and Refunds
Argosity is a free service. Although we may decide to charge a monthly or yearly fee in the future, there is currently no charge to access and use the services it provides. If we do begin to charge a fee in the future, we will provide at least 30 days notification to all users before doing so.
If you are unsatisfied with Argosity for any reason, a full refund of your current month's service may be obtained by navigating to your account's Settings screen and selecting 'Close Account'.
Information Disclosure
Argosity reserves the right to share or disclose your personal information when we determine, at our sole discretion, that the disclosure of such information is necessary or appropriate under the following circumstances:
- When required by any applicable law, rule regulation, subpoena or other legal process.
- To prevent prohibited or illegal activities
- To enforce our rights against you in the case of a breach of security or other legal matter

We may provide links to other web sites for your convenience and information. These sites may have their own privacy statements in place, which we recommend you review if you visit any linked web sites. We are not responsible for the content of linked sites or any use of the sites.
Children’s Privacy
This web site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen nor do we knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a visitor under the age of thirteen on the site, we will delete the information from our records.
Transferability
We do reserve the right to transfer any information we have about you in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will direct the transferee to use personal information you have provided through this web site in a manner that is consistent with this Policy.
Session Technical Information
When you visit Argosity.com we collect technical and navigational information, such as computer browser type, Internet protocol address, pages visited, and time spent on our site. This information may be used, for example, to alert you to software compatibility issues, or it may be analyzed to improve our web design and functionality.
“Cookies” are alphanumeric identifiers in the form of text files that are inserted and stored by your web browser on your computer’s hard drive. We set and access encrypted cookies on your computer to track and store preferential information about you. All internet browsers will allow you to stop cookies from being stored on your computer and to delete existing cookies, however if you choose to eliminate cookies, the full functionality of the service will be impaired for you.
Inadvertent Disclosure
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized or inadvertent disclosure, use, alteration or destruction of the personal information you provide on this web site. Although we believe such disclosure is unlikely, we are unable to provide any guarantee that your information will not be stolen or inadvertently disclosed. In the event this occurs, Argosity will not be held liable for such disclosure.
Updates to policy
We update our policy periodically. The date last revised appears at the bottom this page. Changes take effect immediately upon posting, however we will make a good-faith effort to inform our users when it changes by sending an email to each affected user.
